I’m Takiella Williams founder of HomeMakingBossMom.com I am a 34 years old mother of 2 children. I have been a homemaker for 10 years with a very supportive husband. It was a point in my life I wasn’t proud to be a homemaker. Growing up in a household with a single mother. I was taught mother baby daddies maybe. I was told a mother should provide for her family alone, get the father out the house then live on public assistance. It wasn’t until I aged I realized a lot of my childhood traumas came from not having both parents in the home. I promised myself my children wouldn’t live that way. I was told by my peers i was stupid for being a homemaker. They would try to convince me being a homemaker was being lazy. I believe it was only because they think a homemaker don’t have the time to earn their own finances. I may not work a 9-5 but I am a entrepreneur owning 3 businesses.
